NOT a comedy submitted by saleder on June 2, 2023, 3:32pm The Wikipedia entry describes this as a black "tragicomedy." That sounds about right. This film is written and directed by Martin McDonagh, the director of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri as well as In Bruges. There are a few funny lines, but this film is very dark and quite sad. It is a complex story about friendship, isolation, and creativity. The performances are excellent, and the countryside is bleak and beautiful.
