Pretty dull read submitted by apf1950 on July 18, 2023, 12:12pm This is a well-researched historical novel. Its descriptions and dialogue are pretty rooted in Victorian language and manners, making it a chore to read as queer fiction. There were times I was quite tempted to not bother finishing.
