Creative Wisdom submitted by pjaynes on August 5, 2023, 4:33pm Rubin includes a few actionable tips and practices for creativity, but most of the book is about cultivating a creative mindset. The chapters are short and are more like reflections, or "meditations." Because of this, I don't think you necessarily have to read the book in order. It's a good book to pick up once in a while and flip to a random chapter to read and think about. Interestingly, Rubin (who has had immense commercial success) makes a hard distinction between art and commerce in the book. This book focuses on art, and he also makes it clear that anyone and everyone can be an artist.
