Not the Original League of Super-Pets submitted by KidBlue on March 9, 2023, 2:05pm In the late 1950s and early 1960s, DC Comics came up with the League of Super-Pets. It consisted of Krypto the Super-Dog, Beppo the Super-Monkey, Streaky the Super-Cat, Comet the Super-Horse and Proty the shape-shifting blob of protoplasm. Proty was killed and replaced by Proty II.
Believe me when I say these characters were never played for laughs. The were characters who had serious super-hero adventures. They could communicate, for the benefit of the reader, but not for the non-animal characters.
Sadly, this film has nothing to do with the League of Super-Pets.
Your kids might like it. I don't.
