a story of censorship
submitted by 21621032124198 on September 17, 2023, 9:56pm
I read this book with my 9-year-old and we both enjoyed it. The author made the topic of censorship understandable and accessible.
- I'm confused though as to why Ms. Sett bothered to teach books that she felt needed censorsoring in the first place? I guess I'm surprised that the "controversial books" were even available to the kids. Seems easier to just whitewash the past...
