COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Surprisingly Good Balance submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2023, 11:31pm This edition of the long-running pop series has nice musical variety to it, reflecting several current trends in radio-friendly music that play off of each other and interact in interesting ways when listened to back-to-back in this format. The album has a good balance of tempos and moods, with some rock and country sneaking in to further round everything out. None of these tracks have the makings of instant classics, so it will be interesting to see how they hold up or fade away over time, but as a reflection of the current musical moment this is a pretty satisfying group of songs.
