"Hades, God of the Underworld, is known for his inflexible rule, luxurious night clubs, and impossible bargains. Used to control, he is not prepared to discover the Fates have chosen his future wife and Queen-Persephone, Goddess of Spring. Despite her attraction to the god, Persephone, an ambitious journalism student, is determined to expose Hades for his cruel and ruthless ways. She defies him at every turn, even as the attraction between them explodes. Hades finds himself faced with the impossible-proving his future bride wrong. A Game of Fate submitted by avrogers1 on June 19, 2023, 10:58am This is book one of The Hades Saga by St. Clair. It's a retelling of the Hades and Persephone books, but from Hades point of view. It's everything the other books are and more. It really clarified some back stories from the other series. It was still spicy, but follows Hades story arch instead of Persephone's and gives more insight on the gods story archs. However, I found some parts of this harder to get through. It was a bit graphic at times. I mean Hades is the God of the underworld...
Overall, it was good. I chose to skip over some of the more graphic/gruesome parts.
