Sewanee is an audiobook narrator because an accident left her with only one eye and she used to be an actress. Sewanee spends one night with a charming stranger while pretending to be someone else, so there is no way they will ever reconnect. She returns home to narrate a romance, a genre she abandoned years ago, and to honor a deathbed request, she pairs up with Brock McNight, the most renowned male narrator, who is tired of narrating romance. Although a bit predictable, it was a fun read and I think I might have to listen to this one to get the full experience!

Listen to this one on Audiobook -- So Good! submitted by Ann H Kim on July 3, 2023, 3:53pm I've long been a fan of Julia Whelan as an audiobook narrator, and listening to her narrate her own rom-com -- which plays up all of the rom-com tropes -- is pure delight. The way she does the male and female voices, all the fake and real accents, is simply magical. Brava!
