"Due to a legal claim that was received just prior to the release date, eight songs have been removed from this collection. Unfortunately the book had already been printed and now incorrectly reflects the inclusion of tracks that have been taken off the set. The previously unreleased Tall versions of Merle Haggard's If I Had Left It Up To You and I'm Gonna Break Every Heart I Can have been deleted from Disc 5 (tracks 6-7), while the alternate take and false starts of the former song have also been removed from Disc 10 (tracks 7-9). Additionally, the demo recordings of Haggard performing I'm Not Looking For An Angel and Second Fiddle have been taken off of Disc 19 (tracks 10-11), as has his live performance of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clasus (track 26). In order to keep the numbering of the remaining tracks consistent with the printed materials, a brief moment of silence has been inserted in the position of each track that was removed."--Bear Family Productions press release
