Very interesting take submitted by Princess Cimorene on August 7, 2022, 9:01pm The Island of Doctor Moreau is my favorite HG Wells story, so I was really interested to see a new take on it. Adding a strong female character and a new historical setting are automatic selling points for me, and I do prefer this version to the original. I think some aspects of the story could have been stronger but it was overall a quick and satisfying read for me.
