"Bree can't wait for her first day at her new middle school, Enith Brigitha, home to the Mighty Manatees--until she's stuck with the only elective that fits her schedule, the dreaded Swim 101. Great! submitted by Xris on June 17, 2023, 3:20pm Great graphic novel with a strong female main character of color. Good history about racism and pools in there too. Want my students to read it!

Great Book submitted by stearnsjl on June 19, 2023, 4:55pm I think it is a really good book about a girl learning face her fear and swim, and also ends up Having a lot of fun while doing it. I also really liked how they talked about how in the past black people where discriminated against going to pools, something I did not know about. So overall, a really good book!!!
