"From New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Chiaverini, a bold, revelatory novel about one of the great untold stories of World War I-the women of the US Army Signal Corps, who broke down gender barriers in the military, smashed the workplace glass ceiling, and battled a pandemic as they helped lead the Allies to victory"-- Provided by publisher.

Some errors submitted by sara on July 28, 2022, 1:40pm I enjoyed the book, and learned about hello girls in WWI. But, at one point, the girls in San Francisco looked out at the golden gate bridge- which was not yet built- and it made me wonder how many other historical errors were in the book.
Enjoyable submitted by Gr33nl3af on August 16, 2023, 7:48am Although I usually don't enjoy war based books, I enjoyed this one. Interesting to look through this lense. Shame on the American government for delaying in recognizing the role of these folks with benefits.
