"Nora Hamilton knows the formula for love better than anyone. As a romance channel screenwriter, it's her job. But then her ... husband leaves her and their two kids, and Nora turns her marriage's collapse into cash, writing the best script of her life. When the script is picked up for the big screen and set to film at her ... home with former Sexiest Man Alive Leo Vancecast as her ex-husband, Nora's life will never be the same."

Unexpectedly moving submitted by Emily LB on June 17, 2023, 4:30pm This book surprised me with its sweetness and managed to surprise me with the ending too.

Too stoopid for adults submitted by 21621031390949 on July 13, 2023, 5:00pm Stuck on an airplane, reading this book. Stooopid rom-com, reads like a cutesy teen novel.

So Good! submitted by pamhockey25 on August 5, 2023, 9:08am Nora Hamilton knows all about romance. It's her job after all—she's been churning out cookie-cutter scripts for the romance channel until her selfish husband leaves her. Ben isn't much of a husband, really. He spends her money before she even makes it, but leaves her with their two kids to pursue his own happiness. Somehow the situation creeps into her writing and before you know it, this is her best book yet. So good that they're turning it into a movie and filming it on site!

Enter Leo Vance, AKA The Sexiest Man Alive—who's there playing Ben. He ends up staying with Nora during the filming, watching sunsets and sunrises with her, befriending her children, making himself handy. When the filming is over, he's not ready to leave and offers to pay her to rent the tea house for another week.

And what a week! They continue to grow closer, despite his fame and her life outside the spotlight. One week leads to another, and they grow closer and Leo becames part of the community and her family.

This book is a feel-good romance, with great characters, and dialogue. Nora is determined to make it on her own when Ben leaves and subsequently, when a misunderstanding sends Leo away too. Will Nora and Leo get their HEA? Well, this is a rom-com after all, so despite knowing the answer to this before even starting this book, I do like the way they get back together. Heartwarming and fun!
