Evolution is an award-winning board game where 2 – 6 players adapt species in an ever changing ecosystem with hungry predators and limited resources. Traits like Hard Shell and Horns will protect you from Carnivores, while a Long Neck will get food that others cannot reach. With over 12,000 different species to create, every game becomes a different adventure. So gather your friends and see who can best adapt their species to eat, multiply and thrive! Evolution has been used in the evolutionary biology department at the University of Oxford and featured in the world's leading scientific journal, Nature.

Mostly A Win submitted by majean on July 27, 2022, 5:23pm Everyone at game night liked it except for one person who kept getting eaten by the carnivore.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Add some Fat Tissue submitted by FordAlpha on August 23, 2022, 9:46pm I was afraid that this game would prove too complex or "heavy" for me and my family to enjoy, but I was wrong. Despite its intimidating appearance upon unboxing and reading through the rules, it proved easy enough to pick up and great fun to play. My 8-, 10-, and 15-year-old kids all loved playing it and quickly mastered the rules. Although the evolutionary biologist in our family (me) appropriately won almost every time, you definitely don't need any scientific background to understand or succeed at playing "Evolution". You just need a lot of Fat Tissue [and Cooperation (but not with your fellow players; it's not that kind of a game. Red in tooth and claw here, folks)].
