A mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurdling on a collision course with life, as we know it. With mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler is convinced she has the key to saving us all, but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman believe her. These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find that they might have prepared for the wrong mission.

Crazy disaster submitted by brooksza on July 31, 2022, 3:49pm I have a soft spot for loud Roland Emmerich disaster movies and this one gets nuts, even for him. I like it for the ambition, but the movie itself isn't great. There's a ton of 2004-looking CGI and some really bland characters. I thought this was predictable until it's totally not. Tons of homages (I hope at least) to other sci-fi movies.

There are some lines that I'm impressed the actors were able to deliver with a straight face.

Not enough time for Colonel Saunders though.

Moonfall submitted by SBNB on June 19, 2023, 12:45pm I enjoyed this movie. Some aspects of it reminded me of the movie Armageddon, and some parts of it were completely off the wall. All in all, it’s an entertaining sci-fi disaster movie.
