Ink and color pencil on tracing paper. Frank Lloyd Wright (June 8, 1867 – April 9, 1959) was an American architect, designer, writer, and educator. He designed more than 1,000 structures over a creative period of 70 years. Wright played a key role in the architectural movements of the twentieth century, influencing architects worldwide through his works and hundreds of apprentices in his Taliesin Fellowship. Wright believed in designing in harmony with humanity and the environment, a philosophy he called organic architecture. This philosophy was exemplified in Fallingwater (1935), which is considered one of the best works of American architecture.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

the shape of the building makes it a great subject submitted by lisa on July 12, 2022, 2:40pm why so faded-looking, though? is that supposed to indicate the sun & heat? i'm not sure i have much of a feeling for the artistic statement happening here.

muted colors submitted by Bethybeth07 on August 5, 2022, 12:54pm I wonder if the original is this muted or if the print just did not capture the original art

Deceptive submitted by majean on August 9, 2022, 5:52pm At first it looks simple, but there are so many precise details.
