A lot of fun! submitted by berger_d on June 29, 2022, 5:10pm This movie was a good romp through the most recent iteration of Spider Man (Tom Holland's MCU version). It also packed in a TON of things for those of us on the nerdier side of fandom: 1) provided Peter with a classic Spider Man tragedy so he could learn that with great power comes great responsibility; 2) explained the three different versions of our friendly neighborhood hero that we've seen in my lifetime; 3) set up the MCU for Dr. Strange's foray into the multiverse; 4) introduced (in a superior manner imo) the MCU version of the controversial "One More Day" storyline; and finally 5) ended us with, truly, a more traditional version of Peter Parker.

All that and I enjoyed the movie, too !

Good Movie, but Overhyped submitted by tree64 on August 25, 2022, 5:44pm Like any Marvel movie, the action is good. However, does it live up to the rave reviews? Not so much.

To me, this movie was significantly overhyped. If you consider the fact that this movie occurs after Avengers: Endgame, it is immediately clear that there is an apparent lack of character development for Spider-Man. After going through everything he did in the Endgame movie, one would think Peter Parker has matured a little bit. Instead, the writers chose to make him even more immature than he had ever been in the previous movies, which doesn't make much sense, considering how well of a job Marvel usually does setting up continuity between its movies.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is certainly still worth watching. The movie thrills with some amazing Easter eggs and throwbacks (you'll know what I mean if you watch it), and it does a good job of setting up for the upcoming Marvel movies. However, just hit "play" knowing you'll be less than pleased with Peter throughout the first hour of the film.

Spider-Man No Way Home submitted by SBNB on June 16, 2023, 11:59am This is a really excellent movie. It was fun to see the old villains and previous Spider-Mans. But wow was the ending sad. Good, fitting, necessary, but just heartbreaking.

Packed full of good submitted by kaymbre on July 24, 2023, 5:33am Where do I even begin with Spiderman: No Way Home? The action sequences were mind-blowing, and the nostalgic callbacks to previous Spiderman films were spot on. My one complaint is that Doctor Strange felt a little TOO cold and arrogant. Tom Holland's performance was stellar, and the emotional depth of his character and his interactions with his past variants kept me invested throughout. Despite its minor flaws, Spiderman: No Way Home swung high above my expectations, making it a must-see for any Marvel fan.
