This is one of the more difficult jigsaw puzzles I have ever put together, due to the combination of unusual/unexpected piece shapes and the similarities between the colors and patterns. I kept waiting for something to click with this puzzle, as it often does when you learn how to view the pieces in a certain way, but it never really did. However, I really enjoyed the challenge of putting this together, and I often found myself getting into a groove with a particular color or area after staring at the pieces of a while. The image itself is stunning and looks even better when you can step back from all 1000+ pieces and reflect on the amount of time and thought it takes to assemble them properly. I highly recommend this for experienced puzzlers, as it has a good level of challenge without being intentionally cruel; it’s a difficult combination to find, and this puzzle has it.
