Formulaic submitted by GJBarnett2 on March 26, 2022, 9:49am AADL has copies of 5 of Woods' novels published in 2021. Most involve adventures of Stone Barrington, mega-deca millionaire lawyer, private jetting to multiple palatial domestic and overseas homes, CIA agent, personal friend of 3 Presidents, lover of at least one, as well as the female heads of US and foreign intelligence services, best pal of NYPD commmisioner, constantly bedding multiple incredibly wealthy highly-sexed women, etc. Yawn. Sort of mix-and-match of plot elements. And from this precis, you can't identify which of many books is referred to. If you've read one you've read them all. The only new wrinkle in his latest is that he's openly gone woke with a villain explicitly identified as a Republican senator with multiple other digs at Republicans generally, none of which is relevant to the story line. Time to put Stone to bed. Oops! He's already done that. Several times a day. Every day.
