Interesting historical document submitted by tisaallen on June 14, 2022, 9:27am Full recording of a concert at Coney Island by Sun Ra and John Cage in 1986. Originally released in partial form as an LP in 1987. They are both legendary composers and their disparate styles mesh together well, but it's not a particularly good album overall. Sun Ra performs some out synthesizer solos and Cage performs spoken word pieces. They also do some silent duets. There is a lot of much better by both Cage and Ra, but this showcases an historic meeting of the two.
