History Forgotten submitted by bookasaurusray on June 13, 2023, 9:07am This important book centers on the horrible systematic abuse of native children in residential schools. It's difficult to read, heart-wrenching, but a really well written book.

Childhood stolen submitted by hiker15 on August 18, 2023, 10:03pm This historical fiction shines a light on the stealing of native children from their parents and forcing them to abandon any and all native ways. But unfortunately the children were subject to abuse in the residential schools. And when children are abused, you see how it negatively affects their lives as adults. So sad the real life situation on which this book is based.
