great read submitted by airgood on August 2, 2014, 1:42pm The book is just as good as the movie! It provides a bit more detail and back story and is a really great read from beginning to end.

classic submitted by Jhopson on August 29, 2015, 11:45am A classic story, great characters. A window into the world of the mafia in the mid-1900's. Family, passion, murder.

Awesome submitted by tess_ on June 10, 2022, 7:23pm Seriously, one of the best books that I've ever read. It kept me engaged and had such great detail to help you feel like you "know" the characters. The storyline can be a bit gory and sometimes feels more focused on the actual violence than the progression of the plot, but in this book, the development of the characters really shines through. If you're willing to sit through some adult themes (including sex and violence), I would highly, highly recommend this book!
