Ye Olde Salt Springs submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:50am This photographic history of Saline, composed of pictures dating roughly from the mid-1800s to the 1930s, shows some of the town’s people, buildings, and residential areas, as well as a memorable finale themed to local disasters. Some of the buildings still stand, and the captions provide ample historical context and, occasionally, a bit of humor as well. This book offers a nice first-hand glimpse into the past and I recommend it to anyone interested in local history.
