For Aaron Falk, going back home is not going to be easy. After all, with the area facing an extreme drought, everyone is in a constant state of alert. It is against this strange backdrop that Falk stumbles into a mystery that is four decades old. Many years ago, a teenage girl died under mysterious circumstances. And the more that Falk investigates this cold case, the more he realizes that it may have something to do with the town's more recent tragedies. Separated by oceans of time, it would appear that these crimes are still connected.

Okay submitted by mandevil on May 10, 2022, 2:08pm Okay but not great. Seemed very slow. Eric Bana shows no emotion. Sam Corlett who plays the younger version of Bana’s character is much more interesting

Just read the book submitted by bookher on August 11, 2023, 10:30am Not an Eric Bana fan and he seemed too boring for this detective character. Just read the book!
