Such a skilled writer submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 18, 2022, 11:36pm Tayari Jones continues to wow me. Her stories, her characters, her skill at taking on various points of view, what she says and what she leaves unsaid draw vivid pictures that suck me in and leave me wanting more at every turn. This is her first book I’ve read that takes on a story from the point of view of children, and it’s as good as the four others I’ve soaked up. Highly recommended.
