Difficult and gray submitted by 21621032124198 on May 24, 2022, 2:39pm This was a difficult puzzle due to the amazing amount of grayness, but it was challenging and the little details were gory and fun.

Only do in good light submitted by Zekicmom on June 10, 2022, 5:50pm This puzzle was challenging because of the lack of contrast between sections, but having too look so closely also meant discovering interesting little details that otherwise might have been missed.

Tricky! submitted by terpsichore17 on July 17, 2022, 12:48am We did well enough with the lower portion, but that vaulted ceiling gets tricky - pay attention and make sure you aren't putting pieces in the wrong spot!

One wonders how Gorey drew this without smearing anything.

Beautiful but frustratingly challenging! submitted by MadPiggy on June 22, 2023, 10:35pm It has an eerie appeal to it, the image; it is also quite a fun challenge, until some technicalities get in the way: literally every single piece is black/white, and because the print is pixelated, it is difficult to distinguish - when piecing the puzzle together and even while trying to rectify it. It does not help (although this is not really the fault of AADL at all!) that some of the pieces are broken / taped back weirdly, rendering them almost "unfit".

Challenging for a 500 piece submitted by chowcy on June 30, 2023, 4:19pm Most 500 piece puzzles take me a few hours, this one took longer. Yes, there is not a lot of color, but there is a trick to a lot of the pieces. Make sure to look at the orientation of the lighting when doing the ceiling to help what orientation the pieces should go
