A Good Challenge for 500 Pieces submitted by Meginator on July 30, 2023, 10:06pm This puzzle offers a good level of challenge for its size, with unusual piece shapes helping significantly in the areas that are primarily black or shades of green. The image includes references to several familiar tales, all set in foreboding European forest environments, with some of the details easy to miss without actually putting the puzzle together. The large title text was more difficult to assemble than I expected, and I enjoyed the way that the stories came together around it as I solved the more distinctive areas of the puzzle. The large swaths of scenery do give this a decent level of challenge, but any intermediate solvers should be able to work this out with a bit of persistence.
