Typical late-era Neil Young submitted by tisaallen on July 11, 2022, 2:49pm This is the 2nd album with Nils Lofgren as the guitarist in Crazy Horse following Pancho’s retirement. Unusually, Neil did two albums in a row with Crazy Horse (and has completed a third one). Historically, he switches up bands a lot between albums. It’s fairly subdued and generally lacks the legendary Crazy Horse energy. Nothing really sticks out for me.
