Thoughtful Music submitted by Meginator on August 3, 2023, 11:45pm This album has a muted, thoughtful quality to it that feels very much like it came out of 2020 (which it did). The songs are simple and reflective, with references to Christian theology sprinkled throughout, and feel suited to the early stages of the pandemic in a way I can’t quite explain. With simple instrumentation that accentuates Sting’s vocals, the music feels very much in harmony with itself. This album is a great match for the artist at this point in his career and accomplishes what it sets out to do.
