While the film showcased impressive martial arts sequences and stunning visual effects, it struggled to maintain a consistent thematic focus throughout. It wasn't clear whether this was supposed to be a wacky adventure movie or a more introspective story about rising above your upbringing. This is a problem with most of the Thor movies as well. The plot often meandered, leaving the audience questioning the film's core message. Additionally, the drawn-out CGI fight scenes, while visually impressive, became repetitive and diluted the impact of the action. Overall, Shang-Chi had potential but failed to deliver a truly engaging and cohesive cinematic experience.
