Very Sweet Christmas Story submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2022, 5:57pm This is a sweet and simple picture book with a lot of repetition and sound-based words that make it a great choice for reading aloud. The illustrations use bold lines and deeply saturated colors, with beautiful deep blue backgrounds evoking the cozy feeling of Christmas Eve. The book has a nice moral about using a creative approach to re-imagine what otherwise looks like a pile of junk, but it’s also perfectly enjoyable as a nice little story about the joys of decorating for Christmas.
