She hasn't been back. The price she's paid is a loss of her power, which comes from the town, but she's OK with that. She gave up her magic for a reason--but she returns and starts questioning those reasons...and her reasons for leaving. She reconnects with people from her past, in particular her classmate and fellow witch, Talia. Will her relationship with Talia cause her to reconsider her decision? Read this book and find out.

There is a magical contest between the founding families. Three young women plot revenge for love and honor and of course there is honor. LGBT friendly book.
