For a rugged outdoor man and his family, life in northern Minnesota is a wild experience involving wolves, deer, and the sled dogs that make their way of life possible. Includes an account of the author's first Iditarod, a dogsled race across Alaska.

Woodsong submitted by Samantha on April 4, 2007, 12:03pm I really enjoyed Woodsong, mostly because it was a true story. If you have ever read Hatchet, Brian's Winter, the River, or any other books by Gary Paulsen, you will definitely like this book, which is about his life;training dogs, running the Iditarod, and what he learns from the Northern wilderness.
Interesting submitted by Motomori on July 4, 2015, 11:22am Interesting book. Didn't like it that much.
