Freshly fired from her third job in a row, Bonnie St. James stumbles upon a "help wanted" post to run a coffee shop in the Scottish Highlands. Bonnie and her friend Dakota apply on a whim-- and get the job. When they arrive in the tiny idyllic town of Corsekelly, they instantly fall for the gorgeous Highland landscape and friendly townspeople. But Bonnie finds a less-than-warm welcome in Rowan MacGregor, the local handyman. Busy wrestling his own demons, Rowan is in no mood to deal with the quirky American. Path cross, insults fly ... and sparks ignite. Can Bonnie and Rowan build on their similarities to help each other, or will their passionate tempers fling them apart? -- adapted from back cover

Enemies to Lovers... submitted by pamhockey25 on July 11, 2022, 3:27pm This had potential, but it fizzled. The Scottish hero was grumpy and rude, the heroine was over the top. It's been done better, but does have good descriptions of Scotland.
