Candlekeep Mysteries is a collection of seventeen short, stand-alone D&D adventures designed for characters of levels 1-16. Each adventure begins with the discovery of a book, and each book is the key to a door behind which danger and glory await. These adventures can be run as one-shot games, plugged into an existing Forgotten Realms campaign, or adapted for other campaign settings. This book also includes a poster map of the library fortress and detailed descriptions of Candlekeep and its inhabitants.

Great one shots! submitted by Mairead Seyfarth on June 18, 2022, 11:48am Perfect book if you frequently find yourself needing filler side quests for adventure or want to test out DMing with one-shots. Had a lot more fun with the lower-level adventures though.

Just what I needed submitted by Kejaeck on August 2, 2022, 4:06pm As a new DM putting together a one-shot for first time players of D&D, this book was perfect! Each of the adventures seemed to fit the promised one-shot format, and even the lower level adventures were engaging to read. We ended up playing "A Deep and Creeping Darkness" as a one-shot, and it was engaging enough to make those first time players want to play again (not to mention it was a blast to run!).
Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to add in a fun side adventure, or wanting to find a solid one-shot to run!
