Extra Credit submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2022, 6:50pm This compilation includes a combination of b-sides, acoustic cuts, and live recordings from across the band’s lengthy career. The group’s pop-rock style translates well to the acoustic studio recordings, although the live performances vary wildly in quality (the album’s best and worst tracks both fall into this category). As a long-time fan of the Goo Goo Dolls, I enjoyed this opportunity to hear a few new songs and to experience a different take on some of the classic hits; even casual fans who know the band mostly (or only) from the radio will find a lot to love here.
