Fantastic read submitted by pamhockey25 on July 17, 2022, 1:13pm Jasmine Guillory's Adult Romance series are companion novels with some connecting characters, meaning you can read these books as standalones, or in any order. This book follows Ben Stephens, the younger brother of Theo Stephens--the main character in The Wedding Party. Ben ends up pitching an important ad campaign to movie star, Anna Gardiner who is so impressed with Ben that she requests that he handle the campaign personally. They are attracted to each other, pretend to be involved (fake-date anyone?), and end up actually together. It's nice that the characters have real issues--Anna is plus size in a career that values smaller women. Anna deals with anxiety and panic attacks, and Ben deals with abandonment and avoidance. The characters discuss mental health, and the value of therapy. This book is a fantastic addition to her Wedding Date series and is recommended!

Featuring a love story between a famous actress and a former backup dancer who works in advertising, I kept wondering how real the actress life was portrayed. Interesting and enjoyable with a good amount of passion!
