Can I Give a Book Six Stars?? submitted by racheljohnson on August 5, 2021, 9:23pm I love Tessa Bailey, and with this book, she has written my favorite new release of 2021 and one of my favorite romance novels of all time. Piper and Brendan bring the HEAT, but they also fully see each other for who they are and celebrate that. Miss Bailey came for our hearts with this one.

characters aren't super likeable but steamy writing helps submitted by gw on June 13, 2022, 7:37pm The main characters in this story are (intentionally?) not very likable, though they are more tolerable as they grow in the story. That said, the steamy scenes are plentiful and mostly hot, not cringe-y. I would be open to reading more by this author.

Heartwarming submitted by pamhockey25 on July 25, 2022, 12:28pm Piper Bellinger is a selfish wild child who gets herself into one final scrape and ends up being sent to a sleepy port town where she starts to fall for a grumpy fisherman. Piper starts out as an airhead who only thinks of herself and evolves into a thoughtful woman who helps Brandon through his angst over losing his wife. I also like how Piper's relationship with her sister matures and grows. Sweet and funny!
