Fascinating idea but needed help submitted by mowjac on August 15, 2021, 12:49pm I found the topic fascinating: the story of a real life woman who began in enslavement, freed herself and her family, and ran multiple businesses in the Caribbean. I also wanted a family tree, to keep track of her and her relations, as well as a cast of characters, to know who was who in the story. I found the lack of historical setting description kept me from fully understanding the scope of Dorothy's achievements.
