COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Straight from the 2-Tone Revolution submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2021, 4:43pm This three-disc set is a love letter to one of the most influential bands of the 2-tone ska revival and is essential for anyone who enjoys ska in any of its forms. Built around bouncing upbeat guitar and running bass lines, the songs have a natural infectious energy to them. Given that a lot of the tracks are covers of older ska standards, this album is a great way to understand the genre’s development and the importance of 2-tone as a link between ska’s Jamaican founders and the third-wave ska/ska-punk that arose in the 90s.
