Electrified Blues submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2022, 8:59am This three-disc compilation celebrates a half-century of blues music, electrified and incorporating a lot of elements of old-fashioned rock and roll. The songs have a mixture of power and pathos that fits the genre incredibly well, with a consistency throughout the set that demonstrates the label’s commitment to the genre. Even after nearly sixty tracks, the sound never gets old, each song bringing something new to the plate.
