Historically the authors used information from documents and did the typical fill in possible behaviors for the areas without documents.
The authors notes after the book left me with more questions than answers.
Fascinating True Story submitted by cldaniels on June 9, 2023, 2:44pm An interesting novel based on the real life of an intelligent, fair skinned black woman, who passes as white as she buys and sells expensive and rare pieces of artwork for J. P. Morgan. I was I impressed with all she accomplished.
