"For readers of The Rosie Project and One Plus One, an "entertaining and moving" novel about what happens when a matchmaking company finds an ideal match in an unlikely pair, by the author of The Unhoneymooners"-- Provided by publisher.
Single mom Jessica Davis is a data and statistics wizard, but no amount of number crunching can convince her to step back into the dating world. Jess has been left behind too often to feel comfortable letting anyone in; she holds her loved ones close, but working constantly to stay afloat is hard... and lonely. GeneticAlly, a buzzy new DNA-based matchmaking company, claims to find soulmates through DNA. Her test shows an unheard-of 98 percent compatibility with another subject in the database: one of GeneticAlly's founders, Dr. River Peña. She already knows Dr. Peña, and this stuck-up, stubborn man is without a doubt not her soulmate. As the pair are dragged from one event to the next, Jess begins to realize that there might be more to the scientist than she thought. -- adapted from jacket

Fake Dating submitted by pamhockey25 on August 13, 2021, 11:21am This was a fun read with two unlikely protagonists, yet the authors weave them together so skillfully that of course I couldn't wait for them to figure out how perfect they were for each other. Great family dynamics. Nerdy characters. Funny and fast-paced. Worth reading.
Really enjoyable submitted by russelan on June 26, 2022, 7:54pm I wasn't sold on the premise andI've had mixed feelings on other Christina Lauren books, so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I like the two main characters, Jess and River, plus the great side characters, especially Fizzy and Juno.
fun and sweet submitted by apknapp on June 25, 2023, 10:34am I usually hate romance novels with kids in them, but Juno was delightful. All the characters were great, watching the romance develop was quite fun. (It had a very Pride and Prejudice feel at the start--River is absolutely Mr. Darcy.)
Diamond match
submitted by hiker15 on July 6, 2023, 10:12pm
The premise is that people can be matched by a computer. And these two people are matched - - but eventually realize that the match was fake. If you like summer romance stories, you will probably like this book. If you are more meh! about summer romance stories, you will probably feel this book is a waste of time.
I preferred "The Big Door Prize" over this book.
Amazing
