COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Nicely done with interviews all over the world submitted by yufamily on June 28, 2021, 7:58pm Without electricity, the separation of the wealthy and poor nations will further divide.

Who's Got the Power submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 11:12am This documentary feels like a passion project, which gives it a certain kind of earnest energy (pun not intended) that helps drive its core message across. The film is built around a series of interviews with people all over the world who think deeply about electricity: how it is generated and harnessed, how it is used, who has access to it. Though the film’s breadth somewhat impedes its ability to linger on its most interesting (to me, at least) ideas, it functions well as an overview on the subject that should make those of us lucky enough to take access to electricity for granted think more deeply about what it means to be thus empowered.
