COMMUNITY REVIEWS

One of Anthony Hopkins' best acting submitted by yufamily on June 21, 2021, 2:49pm Anthony Hopkins deserves an Oscar for his performance.

Confusing, but Intriguing submitted by kimberlina on August 16, 2021, 10:31am A perspective of what the mind of a person going through Dementia might be experiencing. Confusing at times to try to sort out who's who and what's what. Will take another watching to gain more insight. So many details: the backdrop changes, the characters change, the time period changes, the costuming changes. How does a mind sort out all this information and try to make sense of it? Definitely worth a viewing or two.

Sad and slightly terrifying submitted by mandevil on December 8, 2021, 8:55pm An elderly man struggles with memory issues.

Good performance but film not for me submitted by denisemw on June 10, 2022, 10:16pm Anthony Hopkins gave a very believable, can’t-believe-it-is-acting performance but the subject matter did not appeal to me and I cannot recommend it as entertainment. Well done movie though., and glad studios make different types of movies for various audiences.

Excellent movie submitted by sumsaylor on July 17, 2022, 12:52pm Anthony Hopkins is a marvel and this movie is a stunningly beautiful, at times sad, portrayal of aging. Olivia Coleman and Olivia Williams are both fantastic in this movie as well. Originally a play, and it retains some of the feeling of a play in all the good ways. One of the best movies of 2021
