COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The 2 hour long documentary showcases Frank Baum's persistence and talents submitted by yufamily on July 16, 2021, 12:18pm His mother-in-law, Matilda Cage(?) influenced him positively and influenced him to support the Suffrage movement.

Good Doc submitted by generic username on July 25, 2021, 11:20pm This is a solid documentary about L. Frank Baum with strong analysis of his weakness (racism) and his strength (women's rights.) The doc shows societal context for the former. For the latter, he was way ahead of most US men thanks to the influence of his wife and her mother. The doc is visually interesting with the many stage and motion picture versions of "The Wizard of Oz" shown.
