A truly wonderful book to show to students submitted by Margaret on July 22, 2023, 2:55pm This is a beautiful, illustrated book. I happen to stumble upon this book at a festival and ended up checking it out for the fifth graders that I worked with. It’s a really lovely story about the friendship between Marian Anderson and Albert Einstein. It’s a perfect book for Black History Month and Jewish heritage month. It tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a jazz singer and a brilliant scientist. I did not know about this friendship until I read the story, and it was a very good story to discover. If you haven’t read it yet, please do check it out. It is really worth your time. I bought the book shortly after I discovered it. It’s great to add to any collection.
