a 1978 resource re leather work submitted by hathaway1066 on July 18, 2014, 8:50am Not a bad book--goes beyond the usual DIY guide by giving overview of leather work artifacts from ancient Egypt, from the renaissance, etc. and also, a fairly detailed description of industrial leather processing, but (many of the) photos are old, black/white, and level of detail is such that it's a bit hard to wade through. If you're looking for a way to get into leather work as a hobby, this is maybe not the best option. If you're already a leather worker and want details so you can get beyond the intro level info, this would be great.
