A deeply weird hero's journey submitted by FordAlpha on August 15, 2023, 9:32pm This book is reminiscent in some ways of "The Phantom Tollbooth". It's not as brilliant as that novel, and probably will never find its way onto the Classics shelf, but it's a wonderfully weird hero's journey with the unexpected lurking around nearly every corner. I enjoyed it.
