Good, but also slightly disappointing submitted by eileenw on July 17, 2022, 4:31pm I usually love any cookbook put out by America's Test Kitchen because of how they get into the what/why of different techniques and recipes they tried before landing on the one they're presenting. But I just wasn't as impressed with this book. I had picked it up because chicken is perhaps where I'm weakest as a cook (I have my go-to recipes and methods but I don't usually branch out beyond them), yet nothing in this book made me want to branch out. Maybe that's not the book's fault. Maybe that's my own. I can say that this is a heavy cookbook -- over 500 pages with lots of glossy photos.
